Anasazi Sandal found in Dove Creek, Colorado. Anasazi is a Navajo word meaning the "Ancient Enemies". Anasazi’s are a prehistoric tribe of Native American Indian’s that lived from 100 B.C. to 1300 A.D. near the four corners area. This is a great example of a very early sandal ever made by the Anasazi Basketmarker II period (100 B.C. and 300 A.D.). This sandal is made of tule reeds and yucca leafs.
