Fancy beaded Blackfoot vest circa about 1900 to 1920 showing ornate beadwork in checkerboard pattern with overlaid floral. The vest is sewn on Indian tanned buckskin and measures approximately 22” in height and 15” across the center. The beadwork is intricate and very fancy also well done and actually heavy from the great number of beads. Also the back shows horses, one red and one white probably a chief’s or elder who was a member of the horse clan.
