Studio prop rapier from movie “Elizabeth And Essex” starring Errol Flynn originally property of Western costume company and part of a large lot purchased by a well-known California dealer approximately a decade ago. This sword measures 36 ½” with 30” blade and remains in good condition with some rusting to the blade. These prop swords were supplied by Bannerman to Hollywood in its golden age and are now about 80 to 90 years old.
